Function Theory of Several Complex Variables
This course contains definitions and basic properties of analytic functions of several complex variables; domains of holomorphy, pseudoconvexity, plurisubharmonic functions; an introduction to CR geometry; and an introduction to complex-analytic varieties.
The course covers
- Cauchy's integral formula and power series in several variables.
- Domains of holomorphy, pseudoconvexity and plurisubharmonic functions.
- Hypersurfaces, CR-functions and extension problems.
- Weierstrass's preparation and division theorem and germs of analytic functions.
- Something about complex analytic varieties.
The course consists of one module.
Teaching Format
Instruction consists of lectures and exercises.
Assessment
Knowledge assessment takes the form of written assignments as well as an oral exam.
