Andrea Knapp is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Potsdam. She is hosted at the Stockholm Center on Global Governance as a visiting researcher until mid-October. Knapp earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on International Organizations (particularly the UN and NATO), multilateral diplomacy and conflict resolution. Beyond academia, she worked at the Defence Policy and Planning Unit at NATO Headquarters and was a research consultant for the NATO Stability Policing Centre of Excellence.

Eunsil Choi is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC), specializing in international law and norms, international organizations, and global governance. Her dissertation project examines growing contestation over global liberal and democratic norms and its implications for the legitimacy and resilience of the international rules-based order.

Her research focuses on three issue areas: 1) election observation, 2) gender-based violence, and 3) international criminal justice and anti-impunity. Broadly, she seeks to contribute to ongoing scholarly debates on the crisis, transformation, and future of global governance and the liberal order. Beyond her dissertation, she also works on several projects in the areas of international human rights and justice, including the effects of regime complexity on state norm behavior, the effects of state contestation on public support for IOs, and the effectiveness of IO monitoring and enforcement mechanisms in promoting compliance, among others.

Paul Vernus is a PhD candidate at the Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches sur le Développement International (CERDI) in Clermont-Ferrand, France. His research focuses on the political economy of international assistance implementation in response to climate-related risks.

Previously, he worked as a Policy Analyst in West Africa for the French Treasury and as a Research Analyst for the Global Center on Adaptation. He also supported the French Development Agency's monitoring of the Peace and Resilience Minka Fund.
