Organisation
REWHARD is organised as a consortium with Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet as members. The infrastructure includes the nodes LNU, SLOSH, IMAS and STODS and a small administrative office. The management consists of a steering group, an executive group and a director.

Our nodes
The infrastructure consists of four nodes: LNU, SLOSH, IMAS and STODS. Two nodes are located at Stockholm University and two at Karolinska Institutet. Below you will find a short introduction to each node.
The Swedish Level of Living Survey (LNU)
LNU is a recurring survey in which a sample of Sweden's adult population is interviewed or fills out questionnaires about their concrete living conditions. It is one of the oldest ongoing panel surveys in the world.
The Swedish Longitudinal Occupational Survey of Health (SLOSH)
SLOSH is an internationally leading panel study that elucidates how various aspects of people's working lives, private lives and health interact over time. Research based on SLOSH contribute to increased knowledge that may serve as an important basis for efforts to improve public health.
Insurance Medicine All Sweden (IMAS)
IMAS is an interdisciplinary research project based on longitudinal register data of more than 14 million people. The aim of the project is to generate knowledge about various aspects of sickness absence and disability pension.
Swedish Twin project Of Disability pension and Sickness absence (STODS)
The STODS project follows a large twin cohort over a long period of time with regard to sickness absence and disability pension. The project provides unique opportunities to investigate the importance of hereditary factors for differences in sickness absence.
Steering group
The steering group is the highest decision-making body of REWHARD and makes strategic decisions related to the joint activities of the infrastructure. The members of the steering group are appointed by the President of Stockholm University after consultation with the Swedish Research Council and Karolinska Institutet.

REWHARD’s coordinator is the meeting secretary of the steering group.
Executive group
The executive group is REWHARD's operational decision-making body and consists of the director and the principal investigators of each of the four nodes. The executive group makes the decisions delegated to it by the steering group, handles overall operational issues and advises the director and the nodes.

Director and administrative office
The director leads the work of the infrastructure with the support of a small administrative office at Stockholm University, which is also the host university for REWHARD. The administrative office includes a director, a project coordinator and an economist. The director has operational responsibility for day-to-day activities and chairs meetings of the executive group.
The administrative office administers REWHARD's joint activities, prepares documentation for the steering group and coordinates meetings and activities. The office also provides support in legal matters and works on making the consortium's data available in an ethically and legally sustainable way.
