Early life conditions, health development, and child public health
This course covers aspects of infant, child, and adolescent health, and the transition to adulthood from a public health perspective, in a national, European, and global context.
Furthermore, the course covers concepts and methods in child health and development, as well as reproductive and pre-conception health.
Current issues in child and adolescent health are reviewed and discussed, with a focus on social determinants of health and development in early life.

This course is offered in collaboration with Master’s programme in public health sciences. Teaching occasions are to be attended jointly with master students.
