    Open Seminar with Xu Zong on Population Health, Ageing, and Machine Learning

    Wednesday November 11, Xu Zong, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Helsinki Institute of Demography and Population Health, University of Helsinki, will give a seminar in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Stockholm University's seminar series PHS Talks. In his seminar, Zong will illustrate when and how each of these tools can strengthen public health and social science research, and also discuss their limitations.

    Public Defence in Public Health Sciences: Emma Carlsson

    On Friday November 13, Emma Carlsson will defend her doctoral thesis in public health sciences at Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet. In her doctoral thesis work, she has studied educational inequalities in early labour market exit among older workers.

    Wednesday November 18, Ludwig Kraus, Senior Researcher at the Centre of Interdisciplinary Addiction Research (ZIS), Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hamburg, Germany, will give a seminar in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Stockholm University's seminar series PHS Talks. In his seminar, Kraus will talk about Evaluations of the Cannabis Legalisation in Germany.
