New Professor in October at Fysikum, Stockholm University

From late September through mid-October 2026, six individuals were promoted to the rank of professor. One person was appointed as a visiting professor, and one person was named an affiliated professor. David Marsh was promoted to professor of theoretical physics at Fysikum. Stockholm University welcomed all the new professors at a ceremony at Stockholm City Hall.

This year, Stockholm University will install 44 new professors at three of the university's four faculties during the ceremony.
