New Professors at Fysikum, Stockholm University in 2026

Notable among the new professors are Jonas Larson, in theoretical quantum physics, and Foivos Perakis, in experimental chemical physics, both from the Department of Physics. On September 25, Stockholm University will welcome its new professors at a ceremony at Stockholm City Hall. At that time, new professors who took up their posts during the previous academic year will be installed.

This year, Stockholm University will install 44 new professors at three of the university’s four faculties during the ceremony.
