Conferences and other events

Two-day workshop for doctoral students: “Alternative Archives, Materials, and Media Histories,” October 12–13, 2026, at Filmhuset, Stockholm.

The workshop welcomes doctoral students from Sweden and other European countries who work with archives and/or historical perspectives as part of their own projects. It aims to provide participants with an opportunity to meet and network; in addition to panels where doctoral students present and discuss their ongoing research projects, three invited keynote speakers will participate.
