High-throughput Platforms

Automation cluster: High-throughput platforms for formulation development, materials preparation, recycling and catalytic organic synthesis.

  • Microtiter plates (MTPs) in different sizes (12 x 20 mL, 24 x 8 mL, 48 x 2 mL).
  • 6 x 100 ml process development reactors with automated mixing, heating, cooling and vacuum and reactive/inert gas supply with pressure control (up to 80 bar and -20 – 250 °C).
  • Gravimetric dispensing units (GDU-P) for solid with 0.1 mg resolution and GDU-HV for viscous liquids with 1 mg resolution.
  • Heatable shaker for 3 MTPs 20 – 150 °C.
  • 4-Channel liquid handling tool with pH measurement, conductivity measurement and filtration needles.

  • Microtiter plates (MTPs) in different sizes (12 x 20 mL, 24 x 8 mL, 48 x 2 mL).
  • Automated reaction preparation with vial gripper and cap unscrewer.
  • Gravimetric dispensing units (GDU-P(fd)) for solids with 0.1 mg resolution, GDU-V for viscous liquids with 1 mg resolution and GDU-SWILE for powders with 0.1 mg resolution.
  • 4-Channel liquid handling tool with filtration needle.
  • Analytical balance 0.01 mg resolution.
  • Heatable and coolable tumble stirrer for 3 MTPs.
  • Solid-phase extraction rack.
  • MTP pressure block for reaction screening with reactive or autogenous gas (up to 80 bar and 250 °C (upgrade in beginning of 2027).
  • Heatable two-channel photochemistry reactor for 16 x 8 mL vials.
