Course in Cultural Evolution offers new perspectives on human behaviour

This spring, the Master's course Cultural Evolution is being offered through a collaboration between the Centre for Cultural Evolution, the Department of Psychology, and the Department of Biology Education.

How is human behaviour shaped by culture and social learning? The Master's course Cultural Evolution: Theories and Observations brings together perspectives from biology, psychology, and the social sciences. In an article by Daniela Brandel at the Department of Psychology, course instructors Anna Jon-And and Fredrik Jansson discuss the course content and explain why cultural evolution is such an important field of research today.
