Aleks Forsenberg är doktorand och forskar om autistiska perspektiv på film. Hens avhandlingsprojekt fokuserar på kopplingen mellan autistisk kroppslighet och skräckfilmers estetiska uttryck.
Hen tog sin masterexamen i filmvetenskap 2023 med en masteruppsats som även denna fokuserade på skräckfilm och kroppslighet. I "Bad Bitch, White Witch: A Study of the Crossover Star Personas of Supermodel-Actors Devon Aoki and Abbey Lee" utforskade Aleks hur supermodellers kroppsligt fokuserade stjärnpersonas kan formas och omformas i korsningspunkten mellan modeindustrin och filmindustrin när karriären byter fokus till skådespeleri. Hen tog sin kandidatexamen i filmvetenskap 2019.
Aleks Forsenberg is a PhD candidate in Cinema Studies researching autistic perspectives on film. Their dissertation project focuses on the connection between autistic embodiment and the aesthetics of horror films.
They got their Master's degree in Cinema Studies in 2023 with a thesis also focusing on horror and embodiment. "Bad Bitch, White Witch: A Study of the Crossover Star Personas of Supermodel-Actors Devon Aoki and Abbey Lee" investigates how the bodily star personas of supermodels are shaped and reshaped at the intersection of the fashion and film industries when they transition their careers from one to the other. Aleks also got their Bachelor's degree in Cinema Studies in 2019.
