Martin Flodén Professor

I am a professor of economics at Stockholm University, where my research and teaching focus on macroeconomics. I am also Research Fellow (International Macroeconomics) at CEPR , chair of the Swedish Fiscal Policy Council, and deputy chair of Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority).

From 2013 to May 2024, I was on leave from Stockholm University while serving as deputy governor and member of the Executive Board of the Riksbank. During this period, I represented the Riksbank in OECD WP3 group (2013-2024), the Bellagio Group (2013-2024), the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (2020-2024), and the FSB Regional Consultative Group (2020-2024).

In the academic year 2026/2027 I am teaching two courses in macroeconomics:

• EC2211 Intermediate Macroeconomics
• EC7210 Macroeconomics, Masters Program
