Markus Hagenbäck Research Assistant

I work as a research assistant, supporting Arash Nekoei, Jósef Sigurdsson, and their research team. My main work is connected to a research project on Swedish tax assessment calendars, where we are building a historical database for economic research. I also work on a research project examining women’s decisions to participate in the labour market and how these choices have changed over time.

Previously, I worked as a research assistant at the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI), where I supported research in macroeconomics, and as a Data Engineer in the financial sector in Austria.
