Structural dynamics of aqueous solutions (SDAQS)

In the group we are interested in understanding role of water in chemical and biophysical processes from a statistical physics perceptive. We study the structural dynamics of aqueous solutions, including nanoparticles, organic molecules and proteins in supercooled and glassy states.

About me

My research seeks to understand how molecular structure, dynamics, and fluctuations give rise to the remarkable properties of aqueous systems, from supercooled liquids to biomolecular condensates. By combining advanced X-ray scattering experiments at synchrotron and X-ray free-electron laser facilities with molecular simulations, my group investigates how water governs transport, self-assembly, and phase transitions across multiple length and time scales.

My group welcomes motivated students and postdoctoral researchers interested in chemical physics, soft matter, structural biology, and advanced X-ray methods.
