Insurance for outbound students
Students studying abroad through Stockholm University are covered by the insurance Student OUT from Kammarkollegiet. Students travelling within EU/EEA/Switzerland/United Kingdom and who are covered by a state social security scheme in EU/EEA/Switzerland/United Kingdom should bring their European Health Insurance Card.
For students studying abroad as exchange students, some host universities can require that you also sign and pay for a local insurance in the host country.
It is your responsibility to review your insurance coverage and decide whether you need to have an additional insurance.
