Qualitative metods in Political Science in English

The course provides in-depth knowledge of qualitative methods used in political science research. Methods studied include text analysis, normative methods, process tracing and case studies. The course also provides tools for reviewing and critically evaluating political science research and applying different methods.

The course is only offered within the Political Science III course package.

Teaching Format

The teaching consists of mandatory lectures, seminars and workshops.

Parts of the course may be given digitally. The relevant parts are stated in the schedule and course instructions for the current course.

The language of instruction is English.

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
