Environmental Management Studies for The Biology Earth Science Programme

This course is designed to give you knowledge about environmental protection and management mainly in Sweden but also taking examples from the international arena.

You will learn how Sweden works with environmental problems, what are the environmental objectives and key legislations as well as institutions and organizations. You will get information on environmental protection history, environmental objectives national and international, how the European union is important for Sweden, different roles of organizations, the role of nature for recreation and life outdoors. The course has a team of very experienced teachers and you will get interesting lectures, seminars, book readings and some outdoor activities.
