Political philosophy II
The module provides advanced or broadened knowledge in political philosophy, building on the introduction offered in the course Political Philosophy I, 7.5 ECTS.

The course may, for example, include an in-depth study of one or more specific theoretical frameworks within the field of political philosophy, a detailed examination of a particular political-philosophical work or issue, or a historically grounded exploration of such topics. The course is sometimes taught in English. Please refer to the language of instruction listed in the right-hand menu for the current course offering.
Registration
Before the course begins, an email with information and instructions will be sent to all admitted students. Students who wish to take the course must register themselves online (web registration).
Learning Platform
Reading instructions, detailed course planning, etc. will be posted on the course's Canvas page. Admitted students who have activated their student account and have been registered for the course will automatically become participants on the course's Canvas page.

Teaching Format
The teaching primarily consists of mandatory lectures and/or seminars. In addition to these scheduled sessions, students are expected to devote a significant portion of their time to independent study in order to actively engage with the course literature and any other materials used in the course. Please note that much of the course literature is in English, and the course is sometimes taught in English.

Assessment
The course is assessed through a written examination and graded according to the A–F grading scale. The most common forms of examination are in-class written exams and take-home exams.
