Children´s Culture II
Do you want to deepen your knowledge of children's culture? The advanced course provides several perspectives on the conditions for the place of children and children's culture in society. You will learn more about the conditions of childhood, the possibilities and limitations of digital media, and children's own experiences of culture.
Children's Culture II is a varied course that discusses many different forms of culture and offers a wide variety of teaching and examination methods. You will gain more knowledge about everything from literature, film and theatre for children to fan fiction, cosplay and game videos. These cultural expressions, in turn, are examined from a number of important societal perspectives, such as power relations between children and adults, children's freedom of expression and participation and their right to cultural experiences. During the course, it really becomes clear that Children's Culture is a distinctly interdisciplinary field of knowledge!
