Advanced Numerical Methods

This course gives you an introduction to construction principles of advanced numerical methods so that you will be able to understand, use, and develop efficient algorithms for large scale problems.

The course covers Multipole methods. Krylov-type iteration methods for unsymmetric and nonlinear problems. Advanced topics in multigrid methods.

The course consists of two modules; theory and practical exercises.

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
