Course on Safety and Sustainability in Chemical Innovation
Developed by the Mistra programme SafeChem, this course provides an introduction to safety and sustainability in the innovation process for new chemicals and materials.
Participants will explore how regulatory frameworks, international agreements and approval processes influence the development and marketing of modern chemistry, as well as how chemicals, pollution and waste are connected to global sustainability challenges.
The course runs from September 2026 to June 2027 and includes introductory tasks, six seminars and a final face-to-face event. SUCCeSS is actively involved in the development and delivery of the course and will host the final face-to-face meeting in June 2027.
Please note: The course is not open for registration, but SUCCeSS is pleased to contribute to this initiative and support the exchange of knowledge around safe and sustainable chemical innovation.
