Watch the recorded lunch webinar from 7 May
Watch the recorded lunch webinar from 7 May where Dr. Mikhail Agrachev and Prajakta Manal presented research on the use of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy to investigate complex biological polymers and reaction mechanisms.
Their work explored how EPR spectroscopy could provide insights into molecular structure, dynamics, and interactions in systems such as proteins, membranes, and lignin-based materials — particularly in heterogeneous or rapidly changing environments where conventional methods may be limited.
The webinar highlighted research on depolymerization processes, free radical formation in lignin nanoparticles, and redox reactions in the presence of metal ions.
Webinar speakers:
Dr. Mikhail Agrachev, researcher at ETH Zurich.
Prajakta Manal, researcher at Stockholm University.
The webinar was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Mika Sipponen at Stockholm University.
