Stockholm Declaration One-Year Anniversary
Almost one year ago, the Stockholm Declaration on Chemistry for the Future came to life. Thousands signatories are part of a global community committed to transforming chemistry to advance sustainable innovation, education, policy, and practice!
To mark the one-year anniversary of the Declaration’s signing, we are organizing a 24-hour global webinar on May 22, 2026. Community members from around the world will reflect on progress, share insights, and inspire continued action. SUCCeSS will host two sessions during the anniversary – see our programme below.
We are honored to invite you to participate, either as general audience or as a speaker (Zoom links will be shared soon). If you participate as a speaker, please plan to share:
- How you or your organization have implemented the principles of the Declaration
- Key successes, challenges, or lessons learned
- Opportunities you see for accelerating impact moving forward
Talks will be scheduled across all time zones to enable broad global participation, with speakers from the network presenting short sessions. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Your perspective would be incredibly valuable in showcasing how the Declaration is being translated into meaningful change globally across disciplines and sectors.
