Interview with Hongrun Chen
Hongrun Chen, a part of the SUCCeSS network, recently completed a short research exchange visiting at Imperial College London, UK.

Hongrun Chen
What was the best part of the exchange to Imperial College London?
– The best part was the opportunity to visit and experience how laboratories operate at another university, as well as getting a glimpse of everyday life in a different country.
What surprised you the most during your stay, both in terms of research and culture?
– To be honest, nothing stood out as particularly surprising, but it was still a valuable experience to see how things are done in a different setting.
How will the exchange contribute to the SUCCeSS network’s future research?
– The exchange provided me with new skills and useful techniques that will support my future research. In particular, I gained valuable knowledge about the extrusion process.
If you could go back tomorrow, what would you like to explore further or do differently?
– There are many things I would like to explore further. I would visit more places I didn’t have time to see, and also approach my research from different angles to make the most of the experience.
