SUCCeSS funded travel grants - 3rd call

SUCCeSS continues to fund short research exchanges for postdocs and PhD students to initiate collaborations linked to SUCCeSS. After completing their research visit, the researchers submit a scientific report and organize a SUCCeSS lunch webinar to present their projects.

  • PhD student Anuja Nawadkar (Kemikum), visiting University of Copenhagen.
    Research Project: Developing iron-nitrogen doped biochar from spent coffee grounds to evaluate how different iron species influence the reductive dechlorination of persistent pesticides (like 4,4'-DDT) for sustainable soil and water remediation.

  • Associate Professor Miguel Rivero-Crespo (Kemikum) got funded for an incoming exchange for the post doc Sergio Rojas Buzo, postdoctoral researcher at Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas (IIQ), Spain.
    Research Project: The activation and conversion of CO2 into organic carbonates by innovative TM-FLP@MOF systems.
