SUCCeSS Webinar on Sustainable materials from food- and agroindustrial side streams

Webinar
Date:
Wednesday 25 June 2025Time:
13.00 – 14.00Location:
OnlineThe agrifood industrial sector generates large amounts of organic by-products and side streams that create land, water, and air pollution. These materials can be upcycled to develop new sustainable materials, offering a promising route to reduce waste and create value, thus supporting a more circular and resource-efficient bioeconomy. This webinar will present examples, from academia and industry, of current research for transforming side streams into functional materials, highlighting some of the challenges and demonstrating opportunities for innovation and applications.
