Researchers and Industry Unite to Advance Circular Economy at MDU Event

The event was organized with support from Eskilstuna kommun, and brought together a dynamic mix of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.

Over the course of the day, a wide range of circular economy experiences, opportunities and the challenges of scaling circular solutions in practice were discussed and examined. The programme included an inspiring start with a vision for the Swedish Circular Economy Network, followed by spotlight talks. The event featured an interactive poster walk, and a panel discussion on scaling circular initiatives. In addition, participants engaged in focused group discussions across eight themes - design, production, business models, value chains, digital technologies, policy, and scaling-- demonstrating the growing maturity and engagement of the Swedish circular economy community.
