Where is gender research today and where are we heading? What academic challenges do different scholars at our university face? How can we work together to address gender and diversity issues?
This conference is aimed at researchers who in some way use or are interested in gender perspectives in their research. All colleagues interested in gender and diversity issues in academia are welcome. The purpose of the conference is twofold: Firstly, to present and exchange knowledge about gender-related research in an encouraging and interdisciplinary setting. Secondly, to provide a scene for discussing and sharing experiences regarding academic life and work conditions at Stockholm University.
We invite participants from different faculties and disciplines, as well as from all academic levels. The conference offers an opportunity to present research ideas, work in progress or finished projects. In addition to research presentations (in English or Swedish), the conference offers multiple opportunities for networking and exchange of experiences among SU-researchers at different career-stages and from different disciplines. The program will include a breakfast meeting for PhD-candidates and post-docs.
