Lena Neuland Foundation Scholarships
Welcome to apply for the Lena Neuland Foundation scholarships! The mission of the Foundation is to promote research focusing on Latvian culture, Latvian language, Latvian religious history and Latvian folklore. The scholarships are intended for scholars and researchers, preferably with a doctoral degree.

Liene Neulande - Lena Neuland
Scholarships can be applied for to carry out research work using archives, museums and libraries, as well as to finance work-related business trips and publication expenses. Scholarships can also be applied for participation in a conference related to the topic. However, the scholarships may not be used for salary costs. All cost items must be within the scholarship period.
The total available amount that the Lena Neuland Foundation can distribute in 2026 is 240 000 Swedish Kronor.
Scholarship applications should preferably be written in Latvian. They are also accepted in Swedish and English. Please use the attached form docx, 15.5 kB..
Applications should be sent to stiftelsen.lenaneuland@balt.su.se no later than May 31st. The results will be announced in autumn.
The scholarships are intended for the period from September 1, 2026 until August 15, 2027.
Note: Accounting for your previous projects funded with Lena Neuland scholarships must be complete before new funds can be distributed.
Lienes Neulandes fonda stipendijas
Aicinām pieteikties Lienes Neulandes fonda stipendijām! Fonda uzdevums ir veicināt pētījumus, kas saistīti ar latviešu kultūru un valodu, kā arī latviešu reliģijas vēsturi un folkloru. Stipendijas paredzētas zinātniekiem, priekšroku dodot zinātniekiem ar doktora grādu.
Stipendijām var pieteikties pētnieciskā darba veikšanai arhīvos, muzejos un bibliotēkās, kā arī, lai finansētu ar darbu saistītos komandējumu un publikāciju izdevumus. Stipendijām var pieteikties arī tad, ja plānota dalība ar tēmu saistītā konferencē. Tomēr stipendijas nedrīkst izmantot algu izmaksām. Visām izmaksu pozīcijām jābūt stipendijas periodā.
Kopējā pieejamā summa Lienes Neulandes fondā 2026. gadā ir 240 000 zviedru kronas.
Stipendiju pieteikumus vēlams rakstīt latviešu valodā. Tos pieņem arī zviedru un angļu valodā. Lūdzam izmantot pievienoto formulāru docx, 15.5 kB..
Pieteikumi sūtāmi uz adresi stiftelsen.lenaneuland@balt.su.se ne vēlāk kā līdz 31. maijam. Rezultāti tiks paziņoti 2026. g. rudenī.
Stipendijas paredzētas laika posmam no 2026. gada 1. septembra līdz 2027. gada 15. augustam.
Piezīme: Pirms jauna finansējuma saņemšanas ir jānokārto saistības par jūsu iepriekšējiem projektiem, kas finansēti ar Lienes Neulandes stipendiju.
