To students admitted to the International Bachelor's Programme in Political Science and Regional Studies

Note: since you register for the course online, you will not be summoned to a roll call.

Compulsory registration for admitted applicants

In order to keep your place on the course you must register online in the following way:

1. Use your username and password from universityadmissions.se or antagning.se to activate your student account. This can be done from Augusti 5th 2026.

Note! If you do not have a Swedish civic registration number (“personnummer”) you can't register online, please contact studievagledare@statsvet.su.se before the last day of registration and read here for more information on how to activate your account.

2. You will now have access to the student administrative system, Ladok at where you register for the first semester's courses. You need to register for all four courses within the course packet
at once. These are Political Theory, Swedish Politics, Comparative Politics and International Politics.

NOTE: You log into Ladok to register online with the options "eduID" or "Antagning.se". Please note that you cannot log in with the "Login via your university" option.

3. The web registration is open from Monday Augusti 10th 2026 through Sunday August 23rd 2026 (23:59 CET). If you have not registered by the latter date you will lose your place on the course. We make no exceptions for anybody who has not registered on time.

After registration

From Augusti 24th 2026 it is important that you visit Athena, the learning and collaboration platform used by Stockholm University, to get familiar with your first module or course. Most modules/courses have a seminar group selection the week before term starts*. Log on to Athena by using the same username and password as above. Click on “Courses”, then click on your module and then on "Rescources" to access more information and make your seminar group choice.
