Funding for research on temporary labour migration to the 'New Green North'

Linn Axelsson at the Department of Human Geography, together with Charlotta Hedberg at Umeå University, has been granted research funding of SEK 5.1 million from the Swedish Research Council for research on the workers who build the industries in the 'New Green North´.

The title of the project is Ignored work: Channelling temporary migration to the 'New Green North' and will run from 2025 to 2027.

Qian Zhang at Södertörn University is also a co-applicant for the research grant awarded by the Swedish Research Council.
