The 56th edition of the Yearbook of English Studies released

This edition has the subtitle Literature and Ethics in a Time of Crisis. The editors are Joakim Wrethed, Pieter Vermeulen and Charlotta Palmstierna Einarsson. Joakim also contributes with the article The Ugly Phallus and the Shit Hare: The Aesthetics of the Unaesthetic and the Ethics of the Unethical.

The Yearbook of English Studies is devoted to the language and literatures of the English-speaking world. Originally a miscellaneous supplement to the Modern Language Review, it is now an annual volume of specially commissioned articles on a broad topic or theme.
