The laureates hold seminar at the Department of Criminology

In the laudations delivered at the award ceremony in Stockholm City Hall on 9 June, the two professors’ significant contributions to research were highlighted: Kubrin for her invaluable insights into how immigration actually affects crime — or does not — and Lipsey for his work in bringing visibility to the evidence for programs that can prevent reoffending.

During today’s seminar, they will present current research on criminal justice reforms, decarceration, youth crime and evidence-based practice.

The seminar takes place on Thursday, 11 June, from 13:00 to 14:30 in C603.
